Our history
- 1960 – commenced manufacturing springs under the name of Automatic Springs Pty Ltd
- 1971 – commenced plastics manufacturing
- 1989 – partnered with New South Wales health in the design of the worlds first personal sharps container. This initiative was to become the first of over 150 in the fight against the spread of blood borne viruses
- 1991 – moved to current premises after the then factory was destroyed by fire
- 1995 – gained ISO9001:2000 accreditation
- 1997 – built more manufacturing and warehousing buildings
- 1997- purchased our first competitive moulding operation
- 2000 – one of the first moulders in Australia to introduce nitrogen injection into moulding
- 2001 – added a further 10,000 square feet of warehousing
- 2002 – installed our first robots
- 2003 – purchased International Tool and Gauge
- 2003 purchased the moulding operations of Aristocrat leisure industries
- 2003 – gained Australian and British Standards products certificate
- 2004 – built one of Australia’s largest and most advanced clean rooms at just over 12,300 square feet. Certified to class 3,500 and can go to class 350
- 2005 – formation of ASP Healthcare Pty Ltd as a separate entity
- 2006 – purchased an adjoining 4.5 acres of land and immediately
- commenced using some of this space
- 2005 - opened our operations in the UK
- 2006 – gained FDA 510k accreditation
- 2006 – entered the US market
- 2007 – installed new IT financial systems giving customers access to realtime reporting on their orders and products
- 2008 – purchased blow moulding machines to better support existing customers
- 2009 — Launched a new range of vending machines that were designed and developed in house
- 2009 – maintained growth during the GFC
- 2010 – acquired a further six moulding machines to accommodate growth
